about

This track contains guest vocals from a very good friend of mine, Mark Corbelli, who is by far one of the most talented vocalists I know.

This song is a continuation of the song of Cervical Contortionism.

A man is trapped in his mind's parallels and questions whether his mind has been manipulated to think one way or not. He recalls a time where he fell in love with the girl who gave him the idea that his mind may have been altered by those around him for their own benefit. She vowed to change the world, but unfortunately she died in the process, exclaiming to the man that her hopes lay undying, so long as he keeps them alive. The man is devastated by the travesty of losing his one and only love and all he can think of is the moment he held her in his arms as she died. He begins blaming her death on religions and sciences when he suddenly recalls distinctively something from the day she had died that he hadn't noticed before. It was as though he was living it over again, but in an unconscious state; he finds himself in a war zone with death surrounding him, he finds a letter at his feet imbedded in a carcass and begins to read it. The letter reads "I am alive, but never felt so dead". He is convinced that these are the words of the girl he lost...

To be continued...

lyrics

Breathing slowly in the depths of this forsaken parallel
of which houses my inner most thoughts; fractured life

Have these walls been tainted with your truth?
Or what is yet to be?

Kiss her goodbye
Tomorrow is a new day
For she had said,
And ever so eagerly;
"My hopes to change this world,
Lay undying...
Only for now"

Shifting forward into a violent
Realm of nothing but the silent
Whimpers of the girl that I held
Moments before her beckoning death

Fragmented images
Blister my every thought,
Raping my sanity
Every time I close my eyes

[Mark]
Blotted science fixes me with a bastardy glance
Shards of memory pierce my cognitive thought

Once contorted and broken;
Meaning lost within it's time
Upon further inspection
Observation in it's prime

A glimpse at my weary feet
Reveals a bloody letter
I pick it out of entrails
As I begin to tell it's tail

[The letter]: "I am alive
but never felt so dead"

Could this be the girl I held
Could this be the girl I loved
This is impossible to me
I watched her seize swallow her air

(This is not the end...
... Only the beginning)

Angular Seizure Timișoara, Romania

This whole thing started out with Fuckbreath, which is essentially a big fuck you to my friends who said what I normally write isn't "metal" enough, then I wrote Inferno of the Misheard, which has almost no deeper meaning. I left it alone for a while and then wrote Sphincter Asphyxiation and The Diminishing of Our Voice and after a month wrote The Shatman Theme and Autumnal Abortion. Now this is. ... more
